ROLE MISSION
Working in partnership with our client the Digital Project Manager will be managing and prioritising the website development team’s book of work. You will be the main point of contact to the website delivery manager (who manages the website development team), ensuring that the priority order of website development is correct and aligns to business needs. You’ll be familiar with website development, agile ways of working, backlog refinement, JIRA / Confluence creation and management and have great Project Management / PPT skills
THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...
You’re collaborative, confident and a good problem-solver.  This is a tech team lead role rather than a tech doer – you’ll be managing the virtual team’s book of work – so an understanding of how dev works will be extremely useful, but you won’t actually need to know HOW to develop.  You’ll recognise the opportunities – present and future - that come with working on a well-known UK Financial Services brand and enjoy the challenges that come with running and organising a small team not just ‘doing’.
ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
You will usually  be based on-site,  however as of you now you will be working from home
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE
  • Prioritising the backlog (with the help of the Trigger Strategy Manager) based on business needs and commercial outcomes
  • Providing regular status updates on website deliverables to the Marketing Platforms team, and the wider marketing team.
  • Helping the Trigger Strategy Manager with the marketing automation Trigger backlog (prioritisation and communication strategy)
  • Creating and managing JIRA backlogs
  • Project managing specific projects
  • Resolving issues based on the outlined project requirements
WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL
  • Have an understanding of / worked in a website team with a CMS (content management system)
  • Be familiar with website development (you don’t need technical experience, but you must be comfortable talking to website developers)
  • Be familiar with Agile methodology and tools (specifically JIRA and Confluence)
  • Have experience of putting together progress status communications, ideally using PPT
  • Have good Excel skills
  • Be comfortable talking about technology and data, as well as commercial and business value
  • Have general project management experience
  • Be able to communicate your team’s progress, across multiple projects or sub projects
  • Have excellent written, verbal, and visual communications skills
