About the role:
You will provide high quality administrative assistance to support the CDO to ensure efficiency in the day to day running of the business. This means you need to be organised, self-managed and motivated to achieve a range of diverse tasks. Alongside this, you will act as a reference point for the CDO's internal direct reports, senior stakeholders across the Farfetch businesses and external contacts within the fashion and tech industries.
What you'll do:
  • Responsible for full administrative support to CDO
  • Proactive management of diaries and correspondence to identify priority issues. Ensuring constant forward planning
  • Organise and plan meetings and events, including agenda and presentations where director is project lead
  • Liaise with internal and external parties to obtain information and/or disseminate minutes of meetings
  • Collate information, assist in report drafting, and follow-up agreed actions for reporting.
  • Manage all travel arrangements and track budgets where requested
  • Responsibility for management of inbox, filtering incoming emails, flagging priorities, responding on behalf of c-level (where necessary), delegating to team (where required)
  • Proficient in budget planning
  • Attending some meetings with and on behalf of the director and feedback actions to the director as appropriate i.e. Internal Team meetings
  • Advise the director on the overall meeting strategy for the team, where these fit within the company OKRs and action as appropriate - delete / amend recurring team meetings and continuously reviewing needs
  • Responsible for onboarding of direct reports and lead on best practice for the new starters' onboarding liaising with the people team
  • Providing support on key business projects, read materials sent to the director and digest for the director as appropriate. Assist with background tasks that are to do with the business as a whole
  • Active member of the PA team - reviewing admin processes, looking at best practice, make suggestions and take initiatives for applying new processes and pushing these within the team
  • Proficient at developing and maintaining systems and procedures and translating processes
  • Lead own personal development & action as necessary
Who you are:
  • Highest level of expertise acquired through exposure to complex business situations and is seen as innovative in the above competencies
  • You have extensive Senior PA / EA experience supporting C-Level or senior management
  • Able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, respond to work with urgency and understand deadlines
  • You are a master of communication, internally and with external stakeholders with proven influencing skills
  • You display an initiative driven, solutions focussed approach
  • You are confident and articulate when communicating with stakeholders across all levels
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication etiquette in English
  • You have good Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • You are an excellent team player
  • You have a personal interest and understanding of the fashion or similar creative industry
  • You are driven, dynamic, forward thinking, innovative and agile; and comfortable working in a fast-paced, adaptable environment
  • You have strong computer literacy and an understanding of the digital world.
