The Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager manages and drives our ecommerce operations and digital marketing activity.
Working closely with the Managing Director and Executive Director this is a broad role responsible for all digital activity. The role will drive and convert traffic to the Tatty Devine website managing all technical aspects and improving customer experience to grow sales.
Alongside the Brand/Sales Manager and Merchandising Manager, this role is responsible for setting the launch and promotion plan across the whole business in addition to managing a support team of two – Marketing Executive & Graphic Designer.
Drive and develop the digital strategy with a focus on customer acquisition and retention on the online channels.
Plan and execute the website promotions strategy and launch calendar in line with the digital strategy and sales targets.
Manage all aspects of email marketing, digital media spend and execute the ppc programme.
Manage the affiliate programme and oversee the influencer and gifting strategy.
Working collaboratively with Brand & Sales Manager, manage the multi channel brand communication and customer experience, ensuring both the online and offline brand identity is maintained and the overall marketing strategy is planned and executed accordingly.
Responsible for the web development roadmap. Work with third party developers to ensure that our site is working as effectively as possible and drive the delivery of new projects to improve overall usability and profitability. Keep up to date with best practice and ensure the site remains up to date with channel and technology developments.
Ensure the website is working as effectively as possible, is on brand and products are merchandised effectively based on sales data.
Manage and develop the Marketing Executive and Graphic Designer.
Responsible for the ecommerce department budget and P&L for all digital marketing channels.
Regularly analyse and report on KPIs (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and ensure targets are met. Create action plans from gained insights.
3-5 years experience of Ecommerce Management in the retail sector.
Proven track record of managing staff and external agencies.
Excellent copywriting and verbal communication skills with proven knowledge of SEO and web copy/merchandising.
Strong analytical skills, proven experience in using Google Analytics and presenting data reports to Management.
Strong working knowledge of Shopify.
Proven track record in online marketing: PPC, Affiliates, Email, social media.
Experience working in the luxury branded goods market is desirable.
Strong leadership skills and adept at building effective working relationships.
Ability to prioritise to tight deadlines, multitask and work well under pressure.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent IT skills – including a strong command of Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
