We’re looking for an Ecommerce Executive to manage merchandising, marketing campaigns and the smooth day to day running of the platform. Working as part of a cross-functional team, you’ll ensure an online shopping experience that delights our audiences and drives sales.
Achieve sales targets through digital marketing campaigns
Work closely with the Consumer Insight and Analytics teams to evaluate effectiveness of campaigns and our data capture
Contribute to future strategy
Write newsletters and emails, and organize discounts and promotional offers
Provide day to day management of the website, stock ordering and inventory
Be point of contact for the warehouse and customer enquiries
Work with other teams to maximize intent to purchase, sales opportunities and seasonal Penguin campaigns
At least 2 years’ experience in digital sales or digital marketing
Experience running targeted digital advertising, including Facebook, Google AdWords and GDN campaigns
An engaging copywriter comfortable with adopting a tone of voice and working to brand guidelines
Experience of creating and delivering commercially successful campaigns
Also desirable would be CMS experience, basic photography skills, and the ability to use Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop and InDesign.
You’ll need strong commercial acumen and a good understanding of ecommerce principles. You’ll be results-driven and level-headed with a logical and analytical approach to solving problems.
The ideal candidate will have a good eye for design, and we’re also looking for a genuine interest in digital marketing, consumer behavior and the psychology of selling.
