Transworld is growing its Non-fiction team and is looking for an Editorial Director to commission books in subject areas such as 'big think', current affairs, soft business/economics and history.
We're looking for a great communicator with a fresh perspective. The successful candidate will be creative, entrepreneurial and ambitious, eager both to acquire and create new content, and to run their own list of about eight original titles each year, while working with more junior colleagues to develop their commissioning skills. They will be confident in their judgement of trends and be able to demonstrate a sure knowledge of the books market, retailers, our audiences and competitors.
