Are you looking for a new challenge within education publishing, in a creative and supportive environment?
We are looking for an Editorial Project Manager to deliver our Custom and Contract education projects. This is a pivotal role in a new team set up to respond quickly and effectively to exciting, bespoke publishing opportunities. You'll manage the delivery of custom projects using existing content from across Penguin Random House, and contract projects: creating new content to meet market and customer requirements.
Working on a rapidly growing list, you'll apply your project management expertise to ELT and first-language print and digital projects. You'll have experience planning and delivering education publishing, and a passion for making stories accessible to learners around the world. The role will focus on sourcing and briefing third-party suppliers, creating and maintaining complex schedules, and problem-solving to meet deadlines and budgets. You'll need to remain patient amongst ever-changing demands, have a calm attitude to a busy workload, and a positive outlook.
You will be working within a dedicated editorial and design team, and with sales and marketing colleagues in a fast-paced and vibrant environment. As such, you must be open-minded and flexible, a talented communicator and able to work as part of a dynamic team whilst managing time effectively and handling competing priorities.
What you'll get in return is the opportunity to work with a wealth of content from across Penguin Random House, the chance to develop your awareness of different market requirements, and the achievement of delivering our biggest education deals.
Please apply with a CV and covering letter stating why you feel you would be suited for this role detailing your current salary. The deadline is 9th October.
Please note, we are not able to accept agency CVs for this role. Any CVs sent speculatively will not be eligible for a fee.
