The Guildhall School of Music & Drama is a vibrant, international community of young musicians, actors and theatre technicians in the heart of the City of London. We produce outstanding graduates whose talents light up stages and concert platforms across the world.
As well as providing professional training at undergraduate, postgraduate, junior and short course level, the School has a substantial programme of regular performances, encompassing concerts, recitals, plays, operas and musicals open to the general public.
We’re looking for an Enterprise Administrator and Events Assistant to join our busy, proactive Enterprise team. We produce a wide range of programmes and events for the creative industries, young people wishing to experience the arts, and aspiring creative entrepreneurs. In this role, you will support programmes such as our business incubator for creative startups, our growing short courses and summer schools offer, and new strands of activity in partnership with the Barbican Centre.
You will provide administrative support to the department, including administration, database maintenance, and invoice processing. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in a wide range of events support including marketing and social media activities, events planning and practical delivery.
If you are looking to develop your career in the creative industries and/or the Higher Education Sector, this will be a great role to develop your experience.
To succeed in the role, you will have administrative experience in a similar role and will be capable of handling competing deadlines, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service. You will be highly organised and efficient, with excellent communication skills and have attention to detail. Knowledge of the performing arts and/or higher education is also desirable.
