This year Battersea Arts Centre will open one of the most exciting new events venues in London, the rebuilt Grand Hall, and we are seeking an exceptional Event Sales Manager to fill this space with bookings ranging from award ceremonies to conferences to private celebrations to product launches.
The ideal candidate will have a solid proactive and reactive event sales background, with a strong catering background and will understand the complexities of a multi-use public venue. They will be an ambitious and personable individual with excellent interpersonal skills and used to a fast-paced environment.
Working closely with the Commercial Events Director, the Event Sales Manager will establish and build relationships with high-value clients to secure bookings both proactively and reactively.
The Event Sales Manager will be a pivotal member of a team which is responsible for achieving a £1.5million income target. Through delivering these income targets for the organisation, you will relish in what’s made possible through the delivery of Battersea Arts Centre’s wider purpose: to inspire people to take creative risks to shape the future.
