Purpose & Scope
The Events Supervisor will supervise and coordinate with the members of the restaurant team to contribute to its smooth running and success. You will liaise between front and back of house to ensure the customer experience is extremely positive and memorable.
Responsibilities & Key Duties
  • Assist with the day to day Restaurant operations including stock control, operating supplies, team leadership, quality control and member/guest satisfaction
  • To train, inspire, mentor and assist the team
  • Engage with members and guests and ensure they receive the highest level of service. Read the guests and anticipate their needs
  • Be interested in organic and artisan foods as well as the story behind the product
  • Ensure The Restaurant is always clean, stocked and organized
  • Coordinate with Restaurant Reservations and work with the host on the restaurant flow
To uphold good housekeeping practices (i.e. neat and correct storage), clean and organized FOH and BOH areas
  • Stay up to date and knowledgeable on food and beverage. Share knowledge and develops the team.
  • To understand and follow cashing up procedures and start/end of day procedures
  • Ensure quality control and supervision of team members, subject to the guidance of the Restaurant Manager
  • To ensure a safe, hygienic and legal working environment is achieved in line with operating procedures and policies with particular reference to liquor licensing
  • Perform other duties as assigned by senior colleagues.
