Telegraph Events are seeking a new Account Executive for the Operations team in their Business Events department, responsible for managing all sponsor relationships and ensuring all contracted deliverables are executed, accurately and on time. The role will also support the Operations Manager on event logistics across the Telegraph Business Events portfolio.
This is a new role within operations with a client-facing relationship management and delivery focus - you will ideally have experience in an account management capacity, with a keen passion for events and an interest in the industry itself, as well as strong attention to detail and a calm and confident manner under pressure.
Now in its fourth year, Telegraph Business Events is growing and scaling its award winning, established conference portfolio as well as launching leading new custom events with a diverse range of clients. You will be part of the Operations division in the business events team and report to the Operations Manager.
Managing event sponsors through the life of every event, identifying and resolving issues and ensuring expectations and deliverables are met.
Chairing internal and external sponsor meetings and conference calls.
Working with Programming, Marketing, Operations and Sales teams to execute the relevant sponsor deliverables, setting targets and ensuring deadlines are adhered to.
Highlighting sponsor deliverables to Operations Manager to ensure the event budget is accurate.
Working with the marketing team to ensure sponsor's brand consistency across all aspects of the event, reviewing final marketing copy, event branding and documentation.
Working with the Operations Manager to plan exhibition layouts, sponsor manuals and checklists, ensuring they are communicated to sponsors and requirements are gathered and executed on the day of the event.
Managing the delivery of sponsor content both at the event, online and print.
Liaising with sponsors, marketing and operations team in the creation of branding for the event and assisting in the production of invitations, adverts, event signage, documentation books, and social media coverage, where sponsor presence is required.
Supporting Operations Manager with the creation of event documentation and badging.
Attending events and handling client queries and troubleshooting on the day of the event to ensure that everything runs smoothly.
