Events Sales and Production Assistant

A Door In A Wall are London’s leading immersive game designers. Our events combine audience interaction, cryptic stories and real-world locations to create unique and fun experiences. We run indoor and outdoor games for both public and private audiences, predominantly in London.

We’ve been designing and running treasure hunts and murder mysteries since 2009 and since then we’ve grown in scale, ambition and professionalism.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, and commercially-minded individual to join our friendly and creative team full-time during our busy autumn and Christmas period, selling and helping to deliver events for private clients.

We would like the successful applicant to start as soon as possible after 9 September and work through to 20 December. There may be potential to extend the contract or progress to a permanent position beyond this date.


  • Communicating with corporate and individual clients to take events from initial enquiry through to booking and production, including:
- fielding enquiries about private events and answering client questions
- using CRM systems to manage enquiries, schedule followup and maintain records
- liaising with venues, cast and crew
- making bookings, invoicing clients, creating and allocating production tasks.
  • Preparing kit for events, checking inventory and managing stocks of materials
  • Helping prepare custom items for bespoke events
  • Working under the supervision of the Events Coordinator and with the Director, Casting Director and others to ensure events are executed in line with client expectations.
  • Collecting and recording feedback from clients.


  • Sales experience
  • Excellent written communication
  • Confidence in dealing with clients from day one
  • Enthusiasm for live events
  • Ability to work independently and show initiative
  • Attention to detail
  • A basic knowledge of London and its geography
  • Eligible to work in the UK


  • A love of games and/or immersive theatre
  • Events or theatre production experience
  • Experience working for a startup or small business
  • Experience with Google Drive / Apps for business
  • Experience with CRM processes and systems
  • Contacts in the London hospitality industry
  • Some familiarity with Adobe graphics software (Photoshop / Illustrator / Indesign)


£20,000 p.a. pro rata, plus a sales-linked bonus due upon completion of contract.


The job will be based at A Door In A Wall’s offices in Camden Town, London. Normal working hours are 10am-6pm.
