The role @ Red Kite Games
Red Kite are working on a variety of exciting open world AAA games and has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced producer to strengthen and shape our development teams.
In this role you will be responsible for delivering projects to meticulous creative and commercial standards. You will help to create, maintain and evangelise our development best practices, collaborating closely with all teams across the studio. This position will also involve helping to secure new project opportunities by assisting in RFP execution and delivery.
Your knowledge and expertise will be invaluable in helping to guide projects across a multitude of platforms, genres and game areas.
In your new role you will:
Take ownership of all studio production reporting processes.
Direct production to create clear and measurable project goals, maintaining effective planning and tracking systems to best suit the needs of each project.
Manage project P&L and budgeting for both internal and external projects.
Help to deliver successful RFP's to secure new project opportunities.
Assist in the studio's strategic hiring process.
Track and update Red Kite's available resources for new and existing project opportunities.
Manage external development resources.
Maintain Red Kite's portfolio to support business development needs.
To be successful you will have:
Shipped multiple AAA titles in a lead or senior production role across full-project lifecycles.
Established project KPI's to communicate progress internally and to external partners.
Managed schedules to ensure project milestones are agreed, detailed and delivered as expected.
Ensured project scope is adhered to in accordance with expectations.
Delegated important tasks to provide bandwidth to lead large teams.
Identified and resolved conflicts between schedule, capacity and design goals.
Motivated teams and acted as an arbiter to resolve disputes.
Ensured positive working relationships within a studio and with external partners, through excellent written and oral communication.
Experience in any of these areas may be advantageous but not essential:
Assisted in creating and managing development budgets.
Successfully delivered an RFP which has led to a project being greenlit for development.
Shipped an original IP in a lead or senior production role.
