Description

To support the smooth running of the Cosmopolitan Fashion Cupboard and support the fashion team with the production of pages and shoots.
Working as part of a busy fashion environment, the successful candidate will act as an essential support role to the entire team. You will have first-class organisational skills, a positive and mature attitude, a desire to become a key part of our friendly fashion team, great attention to detail and an ability to switch between tasks quickly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supporting fashion assistants and editors with sample and shoot preparation
• Supervising the monthly work experience interns
• Ensuring the smooth running of the fashion cupboard - training the interns on check in and return process, helping oversee priority returns, troubleshooting missing deliveries, ensuring no samples are damaged or lost to maintain our stellar return record, liaising with the post room to make sure samples are received and returned in a timely manner.
• Liaising with PRs on all fashion returns, maintaining strong, positive relationships with brands. Taking ownership of the cupboard and our samples.
• Assisting the fashion team with by requesting images or credits, uploading and tagging images on Censhare, organizing the cupboard, and running last-minute errands related to shoots.
• Tracking and investigating missing parcels
• Booking and tracking couriers
• Taking ownership of the cupboard and our samples.
• Communicating with the fashion teams and supporting with daily tasks and admin
• Assisting stylists on-set for shoots if required
• Styling features shoots if required
• Researching for new brands/labels that will fit the Cosmopolitan aesthetic
• Attending industry events out of hours if required/ when approved by manager
About you:
• Highly organised, motivated, professional and precise with a polite and friendly manner
• A strong work ethic and great communication skills both written and verbal, as well as over phone, email, and in person
• Motivated and reliable with a good knowledge of fashion brands that work with Cosmopolitan
• Upbeat, friendly, polite and positive - willing to go the extra mile and use your initiative
• Great attention to detail
• Able to work under pressure in a busy environment
• Confident on the phone and able to prioritise urgent requests
• A team player who is eager to learn
• An understanding of the Cosmopolitan reader and styling aesthetic
• Able to represent the team and behave in a professional/ discreet manner on shoots and at any industry events/ press days
• Previous fashion or internship experience essential.
