We are now looking for Fashion Editor to join our Marketing team.
This role will report into the Content Manager and is offered on a local full-time permanent contract.
Work closely with the Art Director and Global Content Manager contributing to the translation of the collection into imagery that clearly communicates to the customer.
Liaise directly with Buying and Design to create a clear product strategy that meets the business brief and lends itself to rich storytelling in content across all channels.
Ensure the garment selection encapsulates the design inspiration, reflects the customer mindset and meets commercial needs of the business.
Ensure we present each part of the collection to the costumer in the right kind of content, context and time, and with the right styling.
Take part in creating the seasonal directions during the seasonal trend workshop with Design and Creative Direction, contributing with trend research.
Function as a link between departments ensuring key info regarding collection/trend from Design/Buying/Online/Sales reaches everyone who works with image production.
Several years of experience in product design, buying, styling or fashion merchandising.
Excellent knowledge of Word, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel.
Excellent English grammar/language communications skills (written and verbal).
A strategic approach to product storytelling to achieve both creative and commercial objectives.
An excellent understanding of styling editorial shoots (on model as well as still life imagery.
Excellent knowledge of fashion and trends with the ability to outline fashion direction for shoots.
Excellent organisational skills with ability to plan, drive and secure fashion co-ordination.
Strong understanding for fashion and its industry including product: trends, shapes, fabrics and fit.
Innate ability to conduct research for trend and image production.
Innate ability to translate research into visual concepts.
Self-motivated, able to work independently, hands on, plan and prioritise securing deadlines.
Must be able to travel at times when necessary.
