Fashion Sample Coordinator
Reporting into the Senior Fashion Editor, this role sits within the Fashion Team who form part of the wider Brand Experience Department. The Fashion Team create and oversee fashion styling content for all customer touchpoints including Social, Homepage, Brand Partnerships, Marketing projects, Video and PR. The Fashion Team work closely with retail, marketing, social and creative teams, as well as creative operations. The Fashion Sample Coordinator will be responsible for processing and tracking all product samples as they move in and out of the Fashion Team. They will work closely with the buying retail teams to ensure product samples are managed effectively and the Fashion Team have access to all key sample information to ensure the best customer experience.   • Work with the Integrated Producer to plan all retail product hand over dates, and booking meeting rooms
  • Use GPS to effectively manage samples coming in and out of the Fashion Studio
  • Track all samples by locating any missing received samples
  • Pack and organize samples to return to the appropriate departments
  • Deal with ad hoc sample requests from external departments
  • Manage range sheets and organise retail documents on the fashion team server
  • Manage the Fashion Studio ensuring it is organised at all times & prepped for all shoot pre-production. As well as organising kit bags, booking couriers, packing & unpacking suitcases for shoots. Organise samples by month and general house-keeping.
  • When required assist the team on set by steaming and preparing all samples for photo-shoots
  • Support the fashion team when prepping for trips abroad by managing carnet process
  • Source specific samples required by Fashion Editors & Stylists for shoots
  • Request items from the warehouse for shoots and manage returns.
  • Assisting with general fashion team administration and housekeeping such as spreadsheets, pre-production packs etc.
  • Support on any adhoc requests from the Fashion Team such as compiling mood boards
  • Support and work closely with the Fashion Assistant to ensure the smooth running of the team.
  • Develop great relationships with retail buyer's assistants
We'd love to meet someone with...
  • Must have some experience working in the fashion industry
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have proven ability to prioritise, work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Must have excellent organisational skills
  • Self-motivated, pro-active and professional
  • Working and achieving as part of a team
  • An enthusiastic and can-do attitude is a must
