Volunteer for Oxjam Brixton!
Oxjam is the UK’s largest grassroots music festival: a month-long celebration of music, taking place in October and comprised of dozens of multi-venue music events and one off gigs, all raising money to beat poverty for good.
Oxjam Brixton is run entirely by volunteers, who can fight poverty through music while building great connections in the industry and celebrating grassroots music.
Local music, global impact.
We are looking for volunteers to help the Oxjam Brixton team to create an exciting and successful festival this year!
Get in touch if you want to help fight poverty through music!
We need enthusiastic volunteers for these roles and more:
Venue Rep – host the event and supervise volunteers
Stage Manager – coordinate artists and equipment
Ticketing Assistants – exchange pre-sold tickets for wristbands
Door Managers – make sure all attendees have valid wristbands
Area Reps – float between venues and keep members of the team updated
Street Reps – guide audience between venues
Fundraisers – sell raffle tickets and collect donations
No particular experience necessary just enthusiasm for the role! Events on 7th September and 13th October, must be free for at least one.
