Description

Reporting to the Head of Global PR and Licensing Communications, the Global Brand Communications Manager will oversee all Stella McCartney Brand press globally, responsible for ensuring global consistency in brand messaging and for maximizing all press opportunities for the brand across the business units. The Global Brand Communications Manager will be a strategic, creative communicator, experienced in brand, corporate and international public relations and communications.

Your Mission

  • Lead the development and implementation of global communications strategy for all brand initiatives in close partnership with Global Product & Fashion PR and Global Corporate Communications
  • Lead collaboration across Marketing, PR and Creative teams across all markets to create compelling communications programs and materials that support brand initiatives and launches
  • Ensure each market has the necessary tools/resources to maximize editorial opportunities and that branding standards are followed across all markets
  • Manage global media opportunities for Brand executives (DESIGNER, CEO, etc.), including:
  • Pitch global media on Brand stories (both print and digital)
  • Identify speaking engagement opportunities
  • Facilitate and oversee press interviews, liaising with speech writers and photographers when required
  • Partner with local markets on press opportunities involving local Brand executives
  • Create and distribute talking points for both Brand executives and VIPs/celebrities for appearances and events
  • Draft press materials and secure coverage in trade, lifestyle, business and consumer press (also celebrities when required), working with external writer(s) to draft PR copy as needed
  • Manage team budget and facilitate all contracts with internal and external partners
  • Liaise with Stakeholders, Legal, Marketing, Creative and Global PR teams to align all press and materials
