Job Summary:
As a strong support to the Head of Digital, this role requires someone who can demonstrate experience planning and executing ATL campaigns, particularly TV campaigns. Using this to drive brand awareness, visits and new customers on a global scale.
All activities are to be undertaken in support of the brand identity of boohoo and to contribute to the overall marketing and business strategies.
Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
  • Forecast ATL budgets, working in flight to maximise performance
  • Lead our approach to working with agencies on a global basis to ensure professional planning across all territories and efficiencies in fees and resources
  • Alongside country specific agencies responsible for all media buying and negotiations
  • Demonstrable experience of working across ATL channels, in particular TV and OOH. Ideally on a global scale
  • Own and drive our communications mix, including reviewing our approach to sponsorship, music and emerging channels
  • Work alongside the Brand, Digital, PR, Creative, Operations teams to define the right marketing mix
  • Work closely with the marketing analysts to ensure all spend is maximised and optimised
  • Complete understanding of customer segments and the appropriate channels to reach them
  • Responsible for day to day relationship with media agency and identifying business support of these agencies
  • Oversee the advertising schedule to ensure timings are in line with brand messages and product / trend launches
  • Work alongside creative team to guarantee brand relevance in any concepts and supply messaging
  • Look for partnerships including magazine and new media, in order to grow the business and reach new customers
  • Ensure all agencies understand the boohoo brand and how to deliver it
  • Ensure online and offline content is in line with the global brand positioning and delivers against local objectives
  • Use research to ensure success of advertising campaigns and monitor brand perceptions within each market
  • Use research and customer segments to ensure they are reached and spoken to with advertising campaigns
  • Ensure up to the minute knowledge of the online retail marketplace
  • Monitor and have strategies to drive departmental KPIs
  • Support the Head of Brand with annual marketing strategy development and budget planning.
  • Provide budget forecasts
  • Assists colleagues by completing tasks outside own job role in order to further the business
  • Strives to improve the department’s operation and increase knowledge of own and related job functions
