Aesop is looking to recruit an outstanding candidate who can help us deliver and optimise strategic projects. We have bold ambitions to grow and take the special experience of Aesop to new horizons; the Go-to-Market Manager will be critical in ensuring we have tangible plans and business processes to achieve our strategic objectives.
The role will be responsible for defining and owning the end to end go-to-market processes to launch concepts in markets successfully, and in optimising other key business processes to ensure more effective outcomes. Specifically, the specialist will detail our approaches, processes and plans to launch concepts which allow us to reach new consumers and markets, achieve our competitive advantage and deliver our sales ambitions. This role will be part of Aesop’s Global Strategy team.

We are looking for a Go-to-Market specialist who can support our new businesses in markets and help to optimise existing processes, creating immediate benefit for the organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to assist us in realising our initiatives into bold new revenues streams which delight our customers, inspire our teams and take us forwards.
How you will help us achieve our vision:
The Go-to-Market Manager will report into Global Strategy and work alongside the Global PMO function. Collaborating with other relevant parts of the business, the Go-to-Market Manager will bring to market and realise priority initiatives. Specifically, the Strategic Projects Delivery Lead will:
  • Be the respected end-to-end owner of project launch processes in markets
  • Work with key stakeholders and functions to identify the requirements for successful launch of projects
  • Define and manage the detailed operational and business processes which specify how and when we will launch in each market, and how we will scale up
  • Develop all necessary support processes and coordinate these across the business
  • Review existing processes and flows (potentially with external partners) to identify optimisation opportunities, define improvements to processes and develop plans to implement improvements
  • Collaborate with the wider organisation to review and enhance detailed plans with key stakeholders to ensure that processes deliver the intended outcomes
  • Collaborate with Global PMO to orchestrate functions, regions and markets to execute launch plans successfully and on-time
  • Work with Global PMO to ensure all collateral and materials are developed and ready in time to support the projects
  • Establish and manage the necessary KPIs and targets for GTM processes and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Provide clarity on progress, identify any potential risks and engage with the PMO function to ensure effective management of the processes
  • Monitor and continuously review progress after launch to adapt processes as required to secure support
  • Ensure continued alignment within the business and sign-off from key stakeholders throughout
What the Go-to-Market Manager will need to succeed:
Alongside an interest and enthusiasm for our sector, and our brand, our ideal candidate would demonstrate the following attributes:
  • Experience of detailing GTM plans and launching projects successfully
  • Successful go-to-market experience of complex and ambitious projects
  • Expertise in coordinating and executing continuous improvement projects
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and management skills
  • Ability to operate independently and in novel or unfamiliar situations
  • Bringing strategic and creative perspectives: an ability to consider the big picture and overall objectives, while identifying creative ways to deliver this as efficiently as possible
  • Strong critical thinking skills and a demonstrated ability of being able to consider multiple possible approaches when developing plans
  • Close attention to detail and planning
  • Experience in the luxury beauty and personal care sectors is preferred
