Due to continued success, the LADbible Group’s Sales team is expanding, we are looking to recruit an accomplished senior commercial manager for the role of Group Head for Havas, Publicis and Independent agencies.
The aim of the role will be to ensure that the revenue potential across Havas, Publicis and the independent agencies is maximised and that forecasted revenue is hit (and ideally exceeded). The Group Head will have initially one direct report within this agency patch but we are growing and hope this will be two soon. They will be responsible for maximising the on-team potential to both win and deliver all commercial revenue; from display campaigns through to six figure brand partnerships. In addition, the Group Head will need expert knowledge of the digital and social space, a proven track record of winning significant business and a very strong set of senior contacts across the market. The Group Head will be expected to continually win business whilst inspiring and leading the team.
Work closely with senior management to deliver the key commercial objectives set out for 2017 with a focus on building business across Havas, Publicis and the independent agencies; programmatic and display through to high value branded content deals
Specifically develop the business by utilising your senior contacts across the agency portfolio to ensure both strategy and trading are maximised for key clients
Identifying key clients across the group and develop a bespoke sales strategy to win both new and repeat business
Develop and manage trading partnerships with both individual Havas and independent agencies and the group ensuring revenue is maximised
Ensure the patch is managed effectively across the team- owning your own business and ‘leading from the front’
Regularly appraise and forecast performance for the group and report to senior management and key stakeholders in the business
Set KPI’s for the team and individuals and manage performance based on pre-agreed objectives
Ensure the Account Manager(s) are maximising revenue from individual agencies
Consistently motivate the team to exceed goals set
As part of the sales management team meet regularly with the other Group Agency Managers to help create and manage a culture of sales excellence
Make relevant recommendations on product based on market feedback and advertising opportunities and work closely with relevant teams to create new advertising opportunities for all channels
Work closely with the marketing and PR functions to promote and activate the best possible commercial solutions for the LADbible Group and ensure the Havas sales team are fully briefed and solution are being sold to market effectively
Be knowledgeable and on top of figures to be able to report performance at any time with key stakeholders including Head of Sales, Publishers and Founders
Regularly assessing competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and use this to make commercial product recommendations
Ensure that all processes for creative pitches and delivery are followed and enhanced as necessary.
Work closely and consultatively with key divisions such as creative, marketing and ad ops
Successfully and positively represent the LADbible Group at all relevant events
Have extensive and proven experience working in a fast paced digital and ideally social media environment
Must be able to demonstrate strong knowledge in the digital and (ideally) social media space and use this to be able to develop commercial strategy
An exceptional knowledge of Havas, Publicis and/or independent agencies with senior contacts at all key levels, including trading and strategy
Proven ability to sell to these key contacts and win new business
Proven experience selling 6 figure multi-platform branded content solutions, as well as solid knowledge of digital display and programmatic
Proven ability to manage commercial contracts and ensure the best possible delivery
Proven ability in managing an agency group sales team
The ability to work closely with senior management to deliver strategic goals
