Execute the global strategic vision for the Gucci brand communications within the Northern Europe territory. Ensure the brand is highly visible across the most relevant platforms at key moments, working cross functionally within the Northern Europe hub and beyond to ensure all activations are delivered with maximum impact.
The Senior Manager, Brand Communications will ensure innovation and brand differentiation at hub level, ensuring they are grounded in the business objectives and metrics that deliver maximum ROI.

Job Description

Working alongside the Head of Marketing, Northern Europe, develop and execute the strategic vision and seasonal plans for Gucci brand communications in the Northern Europe territory.
  • Deliver best-in-class brand activation across media/publishers, editorial and press, KOLs & community partnerships, key retail partners and brand image events across the entire Northern Europe territory.
  • Provide expertise, leadership and an innate connection to the media/publisher/KOL landscape across the Northern Europe territory. Establish and maintain relationships with key partners, and continually analyze the potential for new ways of working.
  • Work cross Functionally with the EMEA Media Team to support the development and delivery of Northern Europe paid media plans. Ensuring that they always align to the strategic approach, timings and objectives.
  • Partner with the EMEA Entertainment Industry Relations team to ensure that local needs are delivered and that partnerships with key industry figures are activated with impact across the Northern Europe territory.
  • Partner with the Northern Europe Product Merchandising function to ensure product focus and volume flow is aligned to the timing of our brand communications and activations.
  • Work cross functionally with the Northern Europe Client Engagement team to ensure consistency with their activation strategy and that key brand moments are aligned.
  • Ensure all members of the Northern Europe Communications team are clear on the strategic vision and their role within the business. Provide guidance and support in their professional progression.
  • Lead the workflow of partner agencies that help the Gucci Northern Europe business realize it’s commercial and brand objectives.
  • Provide timely updates to the wider Gucci business on the Northern Europe communications approach. Our strategy, activations, and the results we deliver.
  • Ensure accurate management of the Gucci Northern Europe communications budget.

Functional requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management field, preferably in the fashion/Retail sector.
  • Proven ability to drive high profile brand visibility that delivers measurable results.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with excellent time management skills.
  • Previous experience managing large scale campaigns and events
  • Creative, innovative mindset balanced with pragmatic commercial awareness and business acumen.
  • Passion for the fashion industry and knowledge of the luxury market preferable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with public speaking to a large audience.
  • Flexibility to travel.
