Our Demand Generation Director is looking for an experienced Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing Activation to focus on leading a team of marketers to execute the 2021 comms plan. A 12-month maternity cover contract, the role will see you collaboratively design and develop the comms strategy for 2021 focused on amplifying the Avado brand, building relationships with existing customers and providing opportunities to introduce and deepen understanding of Avado to new audiences.
Design, develop and execute the 2021 marcomms strategy.
Oversee the production and publishing of messaging, content and assets across all formats, signing off briefs for our internal Lightbox Studio to design.
Be an active brand ambassador and brand guardian for Avado, overseeing the design and implementation of internal and external comms to ensure a consistent and impactful brand message.
Being accountable for relationships with key strategic partners and agencies including PR, Website, SEO and Paid Media.
Analysing and reporting on metrics to measure the impact of the marcomms strategy against business goals.
Working with the team to proactively testing new initiatives to drive additional volume.
Marketing cost ownership for all brand and lead gen communications, with a high degree of scrutiny.
Manage and develop a team of 3 marketing and content specialists.
8+ years’ experience in fast-paced, high-profile brand and marketing roles
You should be a storytelling, brand, and communications expert.
Strong focus on enterprise B2B with proven success in this space
Solid experience in PR or managing PR agencies
Client side experience is a must (mixture of agency and client side is also fine)
Creativity and ability to create original messaging and content that drives engagement.
Good knowledge of common CMS including Wordpress.
Be smart and ambitious, self-motivated, adaptable, and resilient.
A real strategic mind set with ability to influence at Executive level
Exceptional commercial awareness, always tying back your team’s activities to the overall business targets.
Confidence and experience in communicating with senior level decision makers
Extremely data literate and data driven. Always asking the question ‘what is the data telling me?’
