Amazon Music is seeking a Head of Brand for Europe to lead our activity across campaigns, organic social, brand guardianship and events/sponsorships. The Head of Brand will lead a pan-EU team with responsibility for our core European territories (UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain). We are seeking an experienced leader that has a proven track record mobilizing cross-functional teams, planning, and delivering results, plus a drive for testing, learning and making insight- and data-driven decisions. You will need to possess an entrepreneurial ability to try new and different things with minimal direction. Overall, you will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas and establish best practices for Amazon Music.

Core Responsibilities:

Social Media: Manage organic local social channels in the EU (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok) to drive awareness and engagement of Amazon Music (inclusive of planning, posting, boosting and creative development with an external agency). Includes ownership of strategy, reporting and creative output. Partner with international teams to drive consistency.

Campaign Management: Work with internal teams and external agencies to drive awareness and brand perceptions of Amazon Music within Europe by developing, planning, localising and executing marketing campaigns. This includes both creative development, media planning and analysis of performance.

Campaign Measurement: Own upper- and lower-funnel measurement approach for all campaign activity to prove effectiveness and efficiency. Set and report on annual awareness and brand perception goals.

Brand Management: Act as Brand Guardian for EU, and globally. Set and monitor brand guidelines (creative, copy, tone of voice) for the wider team. Provide guidance an approval for Amazon Music brand externally.

Events/Sponsorships: Support delivery of events/sponsorship across the EU, where they deliver against awareness goals. Inclusive of pre-evaluation, delivery and post-evaluation.

Budget: Own and manage the Brand Marketing budget and maximise spend to achieve business goals. Team: Hire and develop a strong team.

  • Significant relevant work experience in marketing, ideally music, entertainment or other subscription services.
  • Demonstrated success in leading and managing a multi-national marketing team
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, technology, or relevant field of study.
  • Demonstrated success in marketing management, developing marketing strategy, digital marketing, event management, product management, lead management
  • Demonstrated experience in measuring and improving the ROI of marketing investments
  • Experience of operating and collaborating in a fast-paced, cross-functional matrixed global organization
  • A career path that demonstrates increasing levels of responsibility and proven success delivering measurable marketing results.
  • Ability to manage time and juggle multiple priorities to execute high quality deliverables.
  • Fluency in English. Superior oral and written communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
  • MBA
  • Experience in, and understanding of, the entertainment industry, preferably within Podcasts or Music.
  • Fluency in one of those languages besides English (German, Spanish, French, Italian)
  • Experience with digital products and interactive entertainment
  • Experience in multi-territory campaign management
