Due to continued success, the LADbible Group’s Sales team is expanding, we are looking to recruit an accomplished and experienced commercial leader to manage our client sales department.
The aim of the role will be to ensure that the revenue potential across key clients is maximised and that forecasted revenue is hit (and ideally exceeded).
The Head of Client Partnerships will be leading a team of 9 sales people. They will have the ability to inspire, manage, coach and lead the team to successful outcomes. The Head of Client Partnerships will have expert knowledge of digital media (social media in particular) and a deep understanding of communications and marketing planning. Building relationships with and influencing senior marketing professionals at C-suite level is essential.
Drive Y-O-Y revenue from our assigned key clients either from retaining and growing existing spenders or driving new business from ‘cold’ key clients.
Developing bespoke sales strategies to win both new and repeat business from our key clients.
Manage the sales pipeline and accurately forecasting revenue.
Set KPI’s for the team and individuals and manage performance based on pre-agreed objectives.
Consistently motivate the team to exceed goals set.
Develop deep relationships at C-suite level with our LADbible Group’s top 10 clients.
Create ‘value-add’ sessions and events to cement our reputation as the world’s largest social publisher and deliver these to our key clients.
Work closely with the marketing and PR functions to promote and activate the best possible commercial solutions for the LADbible Group
Be knowledgeable and on top of figures to be able to report performance at any time with key stakeholders including Head of Group Sales, Publishers and Founders
Regularly assessing competitor’s strengths and weaknesses and use this to make commercial product recommendations
Work closely and consultatively with key divisions such as creative, marketing and ad ops
Successfully and positively represent the LADbible Group at all relevant events
What do you need to have done before?
Successfully managed large teams preferably with a revenue target attached.
Worked in a digitally/social focused business.
Have had experience of working with marketing clients directly.
Track-record of individual achievements such as promotions, awards, exceeding targets etc
Excellent communicator both internally with direct reports and internal stakeholder management as well as communicating to clients.
Ability to act and behave like a leader of the dept, empowering and inspiring the direct and wider teams.
Ability to motivate themselves and their team – this team is all about proactivity and resilience!
Have the technical skills to be able to influence CMO-level clients in terms of why they should be investing with LADbible Group.
