As Head of Communications for Sky Studios you'll lead the communications function for Sky Studios. Sky Studios is the new creative home of Sky original drama, comedy and documentary as well as 10 leading production companies in the UK and US. We seek out untold stories from new voices and work in creative partnership with today's best talent, to bring viewers stories you wouldn't see anywhere else.
Be responsible for leading communications for Sky Studios across trade, industry, corporate and consumer audiences
? Devise and execute a high-impact communications campaign that is 'always-on' for Sky Studios across print, online, social and trade marketing
? Profiling and position key executives from Sky Studios
? Provide strategic comms counsel to Sky Studios stakeholders, ensuring that they are appropriately supported and prepared for media activity and other external engagements
? Effectively manage a wide range of Sky Studios press enquiries with a wide range of media
? Partner with production companies and Sky's communications teams across Europe to tell the Sky Studios story effectively and consistently
? Manage events, including Sky Studios' presence at key trade shows and festivals
? Ensure Sky staff understand the ambition and direction of Sky Studios
? Work across other priority campaigns as required, alongside Sky's wider Corporate Affairs function
? Proven senior level communications experience, ideally within a media and entertainment company
? A strong understanding of media relations, narrative building and high-impact story-telling
? Excellent relationships with relevant media across trade and national outlets
? Good knowledge of TV development and production, both in the UK and across Europe
? A strong interest and natural passion in TV and storytelling
? The ability to work independently and entrepreneurially within a large organisation
? Experience of managing a number of competing priorities and challenges in a high-pressure environment
? Experience of managing agencies
? Line management experience is desirable, but not essential
? Ability to speak German and Italian is desirable, but not essential
