The Details 
The Head of Create is a pivotal role that will report into the Chief Agency Officer (CAO) and requires an individual who has excellent relationship building skills and the ability to matrix manage creative solutions who hard line report into Group Agency Directors (GADs)
You will be responsible for all content partnership output across the business, working in partnership with the Branded Content Studio, and for developing strategic partnership solutions that will drive revenue for Hearst. You will work closely with all relevant business units to create impactful solutions that meet our clients’ objectives. You will have senior solutions/partnership agency and client relationships and be responsible for leading the way in innovation, creativity and delivery
The Role
• Drive the role of creative solutions and establish best practice
• Deliver brilliant cross platform solutions both proactive and reactive
• Work collaboratively with different divisions within hubs and across wider Hearst structure
• Establish and implement creative solutions strategy in conjunction with GADs
• Aid and develop a team of creative solutions people in a matrix structure
• Oversee compelling creative solution decks answering briefs based on insight and brilliant ideas
• Forge positive working relationships with senior internal Hearst stakeholders.
• Set up an agreed ‘Hearst Create’ process
• Set directional Creative Solutions annual plan in conjunction with GADs and MDs, detailing events and opportunities
Key Job Requirements
Quality of Creative Solutions Output
• Oversee the creative solutions teams in responding to in-bound content RFPs, driven by creativity and out-of-the-box thinking in partnership with Hearst Branded Content Studio, Digital sales teams/leads, Editorial, Ad Product & Solutions, Account Management, and Project Management teams.
• Work alongside the Create Group Heads to establish the creative direction and consistency for creative solutions.
• Stay abreast of the marketplace competition, print and digital innovations by attending (and where relevant involvement) key industry seminars and events
• Speak at relevant key industry events in a compelling and engaging manner
• Develop and use new and existing research to exhibit an understanding of the power of magazine, digital and social marketplaces.
Agency Revenue Growth
• Work with the Create Group Heads to devise and execute a Creative Solutions strategy for the given agency patch to achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Proactively develop custom Creative Solutions/Partnerships in line with strategy. 
• Drive the sourcing of new business opportunities. This should be undertaken by maintaining contacts with agencies and their clients, by continuously assessing the business needs of clients and by using all other means available.
• Build closer relationships between Hearst and media agencies to enable greater revenue potential. 
People Management
• Develop the Creative Solutions team output in conjunction with GAD by inputting into KPIs
• Set the Create culture and business process to ensure effective inter-hub (and wider Hearst) collaboration.
• Constantly look to improve our client turnaround times and continuously improve internal efficiencies, working closely with the Branded Content Director, putting customer needs at the heart of our service levels
• Ongoing Salesforce management ensuring all prospects are entered and status updated
• Fortnightly reporting - Revenue vs budget, client update, wins/losses, pipeline
• Track Monthly ‘Key Account’ report - spend, YoY, visibility, sales focus
Agency Ambassador
• Represent Hearst with the highest level of professionalism
• Provide excellent levels of customer service
• Cultivate senior client and agency partnership relationships to ensure Hearst are front-of-mind across planning, partnership and creative solutions teams
• Be an expert on all elements of your agencies and their client’s business and share this knowledge internally where relevant
Hearst Ambassador
• Liaise with all departments within Hearst and be the go-to person for agency opportunities
• Demonstrate depth and understanding of all Hearst brands and their place within the market
• Contribute to case studies around outstanding work ensuring positive results are incorporated
• Promote overall excellence across Hearst through innovation, creativity and effectiveness

• Proven track record of delivering outstanding content solutions for agencies and clients
• A strong understanding of multi-platform solution opportunities
• Dynamic creative solutions ideator and accomplished sales individual
• Will have strong market intelligence and knowledge of new developments

• Exemplary presentation and sales skills
