The Role:
We are looking for a strategic CRM leader who can identify, set, and execute a cross-product and multi-channel strategy that will 3x our CRM performance over the next three years. Building on recent growth and a tooling overhaul, this is an exciting opportunity to build our understanding of consumer needs and how to best reach consumers to help them make more informed decisions.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Setting strategic direction for the growth of our CRM function including identification of key performance drivers, goal setting, and team management.
  • Expanding our CRM capabilities into new contact mechanisms such as SMS, WhatsApp, push notifications and building customer relationships via effective communications, content, and delivery.
  • Managing a growing team of passionate CRM experts. You will be responsible for individual coaching and development as well as planning for the long-term hiring needs of the team.
  • Communicating effectively with and gaining buy-in from a wide variety of team members ranging from executive level to the CEO.
  • Make decisions that affect critical aspects of the business and interact regularly with company leaders and C-level executives.
  • Use (and help build) proprietary tools and data to make smarter decisions about what channels to target.
  • Work cross-functionally with our Social Media and PPC teams, Product, Engineering, Creative, and Analytics to optimise existing campaigns, create new ones, and create new ways for RVU to engage with our consumers.
  • Engage with Analytics and Data Science teams to understand and identify ways to increase consumer-level lifetime value.


  • You’re a proven performer with demonstrable experience in setting and executing results-focussed CRM strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills - you’ll be comfortable measuring, interpreting, and making real-time decisions based on large volumes of marketing performance data.
  • The ability to set an aspirational departmental north star that excites your team and stakeholders, with a phased approach to achieving it to ensure progress and incremental value unlocks.
  • Desire to work hands-on in a performance based, analytical environment, while also working, collaborating, and providing strategic direction across various technical and creative teams.
  • The ability to identify opportunities and unlock action across the business through building business cases that convince partners across the organisation of the value of your proposed activities.
  • You’re a CRM and tech super-fan. You stay on top of everything new and exciting in the world of CRM and actively look to find ways to test and put new tools or technical developments into use. You don’t accept theories at face value and enjoy testing to prove effectiveness of tactics.
  • Experience with Braze, Segment, SQL or other database/analysis packages is preferred.
