Be a charismatic, highly social, customer-facing marketing, communications, media or journalism graduate with proven experience driving multi-platform marketing and communications campaigns for different brands.
Have experience managing key relationships at a senior level, and be a confident, well presented professional.
Have worked for one or more brands in the hospitality, F&B, childcare/family, education or media sectors, and possess a good knowledge of London culturally, economically and socio-politically.
Be a brilliant communicator, relationship builder and networker, familiar with managing PR agencies, realising events, working with partners and driving below the line activity.
Have experience with CRM platforms, and be able to work with data, interpret analytics and be able to translate the findings into workable campaigns.
Be an experienced manager with established leadership skills, able to set and prioritise goals for reporting team members and take responsibility for managing budgets.
Working closely with the Founder and CEO, structure and run the annual marketing strategy, conceiving, planning and implementing brand-led, short and medium-term marketing initiatives for the company, utilising public relations, member and customer communications, organic and paid digital media, special events and creating brand awareness as required.
Compose and distribute lines of communication publicising news, events, promotions and commercial objectives to members and customers including regular mail-outs, on-site collateral, brochures and supplements as well as sourcing content for the company blog and magazine.
Assess the impact, uptake and output of all marketing campaigns against brand and commercial objectives, measuring ROI and taking learnings for future campaigns.
Manage the reporting Digital Marketing Manager taking responsibility for setting objectives, performance reviews, motivation and daily supervision.
Contribute on brand, innovative event concepts and opportunities to the monthly members’ events calendar. Through observing current events and topical news, work on the creation of event concepts that tap into the current zeitgeist.
Working closely with the in-house team, and external contributors editorial team, oversee the creation of compelling and professionally delivered content (including reportage images and footage) for both member and public-facing channels.
Meet regularly with the Nursery and Club Managers to assess membership recruitment and retention rates, as well as analyse sales performance against commercial business objectives.
Generate printed and digital tools to support the recruitment and retention of members, as well as the sales and marketing efforts to drive private hire and room bookings.
Ensure that company websites are fully functional and have up to date content at all times. Institute content refreshes periodically as required.
Lead the setting up of valuable and long term partnerships with credible brands that fit the company’s ethos for promotions and initiatives that position the brand favourably with both members and on brand target audiences.
Negotiate and secure benefits for members with local partner companies delivering preferential rates, discounts and advantages (which form part of the membership offering).
Work with the Club Manager to publicise special menus and promotions, as well as food/drink-led incentives designed to increase club revenues.
Manage the day to day outreach marketing for the company’s public restaurant, delivering valuable food and beverage media coverage, a comprehensive social and CRM plan, launch events, local outreach and community seeding.
Working closely with the Founder and CEO, manage the appointed PR agency maintaining regular contact and information flow on a day to day basis. Establish short and medium-term tactical and brand development PR priorities, and assist with enabling the agency to deliver valuable and effective coverage.
Through management of the Digital Marketing Manager, successfully establish a social media launch footprint and audience for both the club and public restaurant. Supervise the creation and posting of compelling news, updates and content that grow the brand(s), expand our reach and support commercial objectives, ensuring the company’s burgeoning social communities are expertly managed.
Assemble and manage the annual marketing budget for all assigned sites, monitoring spend and planning investment to hit key milestones and KPIs.
Keep a watchful eye on the marketing/communications and event activity of competitor members clubs, family venues and restaurants, informing the in-house team when appropriate.
Compile and distribute weekly status reports on current and planned marketing activity.
Take part in Marketing/Communications and events brainstorms to contribute ideas.
