If so, this could be the role for you. We are now looking for a Head of Menswear to join our Design team.
This role will report into the Design, Buying & Production Director and is offered on a full-time 12 months temporary contract.
As the Head of Menswear at COS you are ultimately responsible for the department's best customer offer, sales, quality and profitability in all channels, short- and long-term. In this role you lead the entire Departments Team towards the set goals.
Ultimately responsible for the departments vision and methods for season and block, considering customer- and competitor focus.
Ultimately responsible for the assortment being managed in accordance with the target, vision, customer, price strategy and visual goal, questioning and acting on products and the entire assortment.
Ultimately responsible for the planning and buying in the department.
Create a people first working environment, support actions based on annual HR goals and processes.
Lead and grow your Departments team to grow the business, guide through the whole employee life cycle (recruitment, performance, appraisal, reward, development, exits).
Set and manage the long-term vision and targets for the department, ultimately responsible for the planning and buying in the department
Identify and follow important competitors and examples, constantly look for new sales opportunities, seek out future recruitment industry trends and develop/adapt new ways of working.
Drive analysis and conclusions about sales in order to be able to optimise the assortment in the future
Certifiable textile/design qualification with a focus on menswear.
Precious experience working in a similar position/level.
Experience leading a medium/large sizes team.
Strategic mindset with experience setting up short and long terms goals.
Strong communication skills.
Strong understanding of different functions to lead: Buying, design and pattern.
Clear understanding of the COS aesthetics and the COS customer.
Experience working with budgets and reacting to trade.
Ability to work cross functionally.
