We are looking for a candidate to fill a position of Head of New Business (maternity cover) reporting into the CMO within Engine’s New Business and Marketing team. The successful candidate will ideally have 8+ years’ experience of working within the marketing and communications industry.
We are looking for a self-starter, someone who is confident, works with enthusiasm, is very organised, all over the detail and, most importantly, packed full of ideas. The successful candidate will feel comfortable operating in a fast moving and ever-changing commercial environment.
The main responsibilities of this role
Working with the CMO and key stakeholders you will develop and implement a new business strategy focussed on:
New prospect focused campaigns
Group prospect focussed campaigns
Targeting group clients and contacts
Building and maintaining strong intermediary relationships
New proposition development
Undertake research/analysis of CRM to produce recommendations for evolving and adapting the new business strategy over time
Manage inbound Creds, RFIs and RFPs ensuring we successfully get through to pitch stage
Help facilitate cross division pitches
Helping achieve a collective new business sales target for CCX
Managing New Business Manager and working closely with the Head of Brand, Head of Relationship Marketing and CMO
What experience and capabilities are required for this role
A good understanding of; advertising, content and on-site
Strong relationships with key intermediaries
Evidence of developing and implementing successful new business strategy
Evidence of successfully converting Creds/RFIs/RFP/Chemistry/Pitches
Experience managing a team and working with a wider team
