Ravensbourne University London is seeking to recruit an experienced, dynamic and creative individual who can oversee, support and ensure the effective management of the physical production of all Ravensbourne film and television projects from pre-production to final delivery.  The post holder will work in collaboration with teaching colleagues and colleagues from the equipment store to ensure the health and safety of Ravensbourne students (and staff), whilst both teaching exercises (levels 4 and 5) and graduation films, are all properly managed.
Additionally, as an experienced Production Manager, the post holder will support and advise on other practical elements of student shoots including (but not limited to) working with support staff at any off-site locations such as SUGAR STUDIOS; assisting and supporting location scouting for student graduation productions; liaising with insurers, industry professionals and other relevant authorities including local councils and borough film offices; checking and approving risk assessments, shooting schedules, budgets, call sheets, insurance forms and location agreements.
Finally, you will combine professional experience, some academic knowledge and a strong understanding of current industry practice; and you will bring the dynamism to inspire our students.
