Description

In Autumn 2017 the expanded Tate St Ives relaunched with new gallery spaces and a bold and adventurous new programme of exhibitions, collection displays and events.
To help us deliver this integrated programme of exhibitions and learning activities we have created a new role, Head of Programme Management. As well as leading the Programme team, you’ll work closely with the Director, Tate St Ives and senior colleagues as part of the small leadership team, contributing to the development and delivery of Tate St Ives’ overall vision and strategy.
Leading the Programme team, you’ll schedule and liaise across our exhibitions, displays and learning activities to create a balanced, strategic and sustainable programme that meets audience and financial framework objectives and delivers Tate St Ives’ vision to be a valued part of Cornwall, offering life changing experiences through our ambitious and internationally recognised programme.
You’ll have the ability to make a real contribution to a leadership team, thinking strategically and working collaboratively with colleagues across Tate to deliver results. Your proven track record of creating high performing teams, honed people management skills along with excellent project management experience will make you a strong candidate for this role. You’ll also need sound practical knowledge and a good analytical approach to the coordination and administration of exhibitions, displays, commissions and learning programmes. Your confident communication and influencing skills along with a highly organised approach will help you to succeed. Above all, in this senior role, you’ll want to make a significant impact at the start of an exciting new chapter for Tate St Ives.
