Family, the content studio from Shortlist Media, is the single largest investment into the business and pivotal to the future success. Accounting for over 50% of the revenues and with ambitions to grow this further and to become a leading commercial content agency for our brand partners, the Events division sits within Family.
One of our key objectives for Shortlist Media is to grow the number of brand events in the next 12 months. This role is predominantly focused on Stylist Live, however could grow across other events that have potential for retail partners.
Core Objectives
o Working with Head of Events to develop the commercial requirements for Stylist Live in order to meet the revenue targets and position the event for future growth.
o Develop a sales strategy to maximise retention and new business opportunities.
o Responsible for all stand revenue for Stylist Live (and any additional events which could include retail partners)
o Lead and manage the stand sales team, and project managers of partners.
o Set goals and give direction to the team in terms of attacking the given targets, to ensure revenue objectives are met or over achieved.
o Attend monthly Stylist Live Exec and communicate revenue against target and brands involved.
o Overall responsibility for curation of retail partners – who we will and wont work with, which partners are ‘Met Set’ brands, and ensure we are always introducing new brands to our audience.
o Ensure team is immersed in brand guidelines to be confident curation of retail partners is on brand.
o Input into developing the aesthetics and feel of the retail area of the event alongside snr
o Manage relationships and all marketing of the event through these retails partners pre-event.
o Manage stand set up at the event and be point of contact for all retail partners.
o Remain focused on developing new commercial opportunities for this and other events.
o Attend competitor events to pull in retail leads.
Other Responsibilities:
Be a sales champion for Stylist Live and have sound knowledge of the brand on all platforms.
Have strong knowledge of competitive set and communicate to snr management team and launches or developments in the area of events.
Foster a proactive culture and good team spirit.
