WHO WE ARE
Gener8 is a browser extension that enables people to take control of the ads they see online and earn money from seeing them. Having launched our beta earlier this year we already have over 10,000 registered users and aim to grow to 100,000 this year.
Our overarching belief is that people should have more control over their data and be able to monetise it themselves. The Gener8 browser extension is our first product.
We're a small team based close to Liverpool Street. We’ve closed multiple funding rounds from esteemed industry investors. Our founder, Sam Jones, was previously a Global Brand Manager at Red Bull where he was a key figure in their world-wide advertising and responsible for one third of their global advertising.
You will be responsible for growing, retaining and managing our userbase.
Build and deliver a plan for how to grow our userbase month on month.
Create and execute campaigns in order to drive user growth across organic and paid acquisition channels.
Track and report on the efficiency of campaigns.
Optimise campaigns on the fly and shift marketing budget towards the most cost-effective channels.
Understand who our existing users are and gain insights from GA, first party data and heatmapping about how they use our product and how we can improve their user journey.
Manage social media accounts and grow the organic following.
Your time split on an average week will look like:
70% driving user growth;
20% managing communication with existing users;
10% feedback to engineering re product updates and new feature requests.
In addition to having a solid experience of all criteria listed in the ‘role summary’ the ideal candidate will:
Have 4-7yrs of professional experience.
Have run performance marketing campaigns (cost per install, rather than brand campaigns).
Be confident creating high level strategy, able to execute it and competent analysing the results.
Likely come from an agency background, or have experience of working in a role that drives app installs (or similar performance focus).
Digital mindset, deep curiosity and knowledge of content marketing and communication.
A self-starter who is able to work independently and manage expectations.
High performer with a solid work ethic.
