The Insight department at Sony Music UK is focused on inspiring better understanding of the audiences for our music and artists throughout the business.
Our stated goal is to make Sony Music employees as passionate about audiences as they are about artists. Understanding audiences helps us work out how to efficiently target our marketing, sign the right artists, form strategic partnerships, and inspire creativity.
Our day-to-day work involves using our proprietary market segmentation data, in conjunction with bespoke quantitative and qualitative research to help answer questions from around the business (across all labels and departments)
The UK Insight intern would be focused on helping the Head of Insight deliver on all of the above needs.
**Applications close on 17th August at 12pm**
As the Insight intern would be the sole support for the department head for the duration of the internship, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, with a chance to get stuck in on interesting projects from the start.
While some of the responsibilities would be admin-focused (from raising POs to helping set up events that we run), we would envisage that the right candidate would very quickly progress to actively helping the Head of Insight run projects – by helping out on and (ultimately) running their own smaller projects.
This role would be a great opportunity for anyone looking to rapidly develop their research, insight, analysis and storytelling skills in a challenging, fast-paced and always-changing industry.
