Vogue is looking for a highly-motivated, experienced and enthusiastic Associate Publisher to support Vanessa Kingori - Publishing Director - in the day-to-day management of our busy and dynamic team - this is a key leadership role within the Vogue commercial department.

Besides supporting the wider team’s day-to-day needs and professional development, the successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of high-profile key accounts. The individual will therefore need to develop and maintain strong relationships with these brands whilst demonstrating a dedicated interest in maximising the potential of these important revenue streams . As such, applicants will require significant experience in commercial sales, and demonstrate proficiency in selling across print, online and social channels - including both display and bespoke content creation. The successful candidate will be a confident communicator and negotiator and should have a proven track record of working directly with both clients and media agencies at a senior level.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with our Publishing Director in supporting her day-to-day business needs. As such, it is essential that applicants have an excellent understanding of the British Vogue brand and wider publishing environment, whilst possessing an analytical mind - with a keen eye for detail and interest in business reporting.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the day-to-day operations of the Vogue Publishing team
  • Develop and deliver new commercial concepts to the team in order to enable new revenue generation
  • Work closely with the Publishing Director to support her day-to-day business needs
  • Oversee business relationships with key client accounts and media agencies at a senior level - both in the UK and internationally.
  • Sell display advertising and partnerships across print, online, social and events – with extensive experience of each
  • Seek out and convert new business opportunities
  • Represent Vogue at industry events
  • Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders
  • Demonstrate an ability to analyse business reports and share insights, where requested

Essential Skills & Requirements

  • An integral understanding of and experience in advertising sales - to include digital (web, social and video) and print media
  • Strong leadership skills and experience in managing a number of direct reports
  • A passion for Vogue and an interest in the wider publishing landscape
  • Highly numerate, with close attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication and organisation skills
  • Exceptional negotiation skills and a proactive, agile attitude
  • Inherent ‘people person’ with an interest in developing and supporting the learning and progression of others
  • Ability to handle multiple projects, prioritise assignments and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work efficiently in an extremely busy environment
