About the Team
We are currently recruiting for an Interim Integrated Design Lead to join the Lipsy Creative team for a period of 12 months to cover maternity. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering creative assets for Lipsy across retail, print and digital channels. The Integrated Design Lead will work closely with the Creative Director to lead creative projects across the department, ensuring the execution is to a high-standard, in line with the Lipsy brand and overall business strategy.
Within this role you will
  • Acts as the ambassador of all Lipsy branded content.
  • Develops, implements and drives the integrated design strategy for Lipsy, working closely with the Creative Director.
  • Ensures a high design standard and that projects are delivered on time and within agreed brand guidelines.
  • Takes responsibility for the visual appearance, usability and ultimate sign off of all Lipsy creative design assets across digital and print, whilst maintaining brand continuity at all times.
  • Demonstrates flexibility and resilience to support the needs of the brand.
  • Confident pitching new ideas, completed work or projects to all levels of seniority across the business, including directors.
  • Works closely with Creative Director and Brand Director to lead pitch projects for the business to grow and build integrated campaign.
  • To lead on all creative output to design and implement innovative ideas across print and online.
  • Champions design innovation within all digital communication ensuring Lipsy are at the forefront of Ecommerce, Fashion and Retail.
  • Provides regular feedback to junior team members to shape and develop projects.
  • Drives creative delivery, implements project schedules, monitors project progress and troubleshoots related issues.Planning seasonal campaigns, promotional activity and the critical paths for supporting assets.
  • Ensures all design work produced is in line with the Lipsy guidelines or that of fashion/ beauty brand partners.
  • Able to motivate and inspire as well as manage a full project plan and prioritise resource.
  • Takes ownership of the briefing process, ensuring key stakeholders hand over all assets before the job goes to wider team.
  • Uses online job trackers Smartsheet and Trello to brief in projects and make sure deadlines are met on time and to a high standard.
  • Conducts weekly team meetings and 1:1’s with team members, developing them through regular catch ups.
Criteria
  • At least 2 years operating at Senior Graphic Designer/ Design Lead level.
  • Advanced technical experience across Adobe Creative Suite, After Effects and Sketch desirable. Working knowledge of web development technologies such as HTML and CSS, exposure to Content Management Systems would be beneficial. 
  • Extensive industry understanding of campaign development and execution across multi-channel business, exposure to artworking and print production would be expected.
  • Demonstrable experience managing a team of creatives. We are passionate about our people at Lipsy and require the successful applicant to draw from previous experience to lead and develop a growing team.
  • Comprehensive understanding of social media and content creation skills and technologies.
