Reporting into the Client Director, this Account Director position within Havas International (part of Havas Media Group), will be working on some of our most prestigious global brands. You’ll be expected to utilise integrated experience across offline and digital media channels and develop strategies / insights for your designated accounts. You’ll be responsible for driving performance through an unrivalled understanding of both local and international markets.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the senior client relationships on a day to day basis, acting as key account lead.
  • Planning lead and primary contact for internal agency specialist teams
  • Ownership of client briefs – with management of strategic input to implementation through to detailed reporting, optimisation and insight generation
  • Owning local responses from client brief to execution ensuring that team and agency output is best in class
  • Working closely with the client director to understand client business challenges and identification of suitable additional agency services to address the client’s needs
  • Placing the client’s needs at the heart of all delivery and building strong, meaningful relationships with client peers
  • Developing strong internal agency specialist relationships, with an eye for commercial growth
  • Managing external agency partner relationships & developing/managing ways of working in tandem
  • Setting a high standard for industry/sales community relationship-building
  • Drive innovation and fresh thinking across the client’s business as well as across the agency
  • Ensures managers and execs are working to deliver integrated plans that display a deep understanding of all channels
  • Owns the training, management and growth for all direct reports
  • Managing the internal process of forecasting future media investment from the clients and complicated invoicing processes
  • Continuously searching for new improved ways of approaching tasks and processes, and encouraging team to do the same
Who we’re looking for:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience which includes international media knowledge and cross channel planning/buying experience
  • A problem solver mentality
  • An enthusiastic team player with experience of fostering a collaborative team culture
  • Advanced communication skills to uphold relationships across a range of internal & external partners
  • Working knowledge of paid, owned, earned and shared media and experience of evolving brands from a traditional media model
  • Strong commercial acumen with a willingness to sell-in commercial opportunities that are right for the client’s needs
  • You will be passionate about media especially the brand and performance dynamic, coupled with a strong business, market, consumer and brand/performance understanding
  • Inspiring presentation skills with clients and in prospective new business pitches
  • Proactive nature, someone who makes things happen and thrives from accountability
