WHAT YOU DO MATTERS…
Do you love fashion? Working with our Product & Merchandising team we are looking for a Wholesale Junior Account manager.
It is a very exciting time to join the Wholesale team. Wholesale is the fastest growing channel within River Island, reaching new customers and working with key partners across the globe.
Role: Junior Account Manager
In this role you will be required to:
  • Manage and build upon day to day relationships with wholesale partners
  • Present ranges to partners and be the go to person for all product queries
  • Ability to review & analyse orders in order to identify opportunities & risk at partner level
  • Work closely with merchandising to ensure seasonal spends are met
  • Identifying & managing in season sales opportunities
  • Management of critical path in line with the core critical path
  • Build strong relationships with Buying & merchandising in order to support wholesale
  • Attend key internal buying meetings
  • Develop strong market knowledge of all partners and maximise product content to reflect this

Excellent client relationship building skills
Strong excel and numerical skills
Sales orientated and accustomed to working towards targets
Good time management skills with the ability to plan, organise and priortise tasks under pressure to meet deadlines
Be a team player, understanding priorities and work load of other departments
Excellent communication and networking skills at all levels
Proven management skills with the ability to coach and develop junior members of the team
