Lecturer in Fashion Communication with Business Studies - Styling Specialism (0.4 full-time equivalent)
Location: Brighton - Grand Parade
Salary: £35,211 to £42,036 pro rata
Fixed Term End Date: 18/07/2020

The School of Art is located at Grand Parade in Brighton. The School draws together a comprehensive range of disciplines and professions that span fine art, design and applied arts.

We are looking for a Lecturer in Fashion Communication with Business Studies with a styling specialism with a broad knowledge of the practice and theory of photography and styling and an ability to impart this knowledge and experience whilst also understanding the requirements of the university environment. This course at the University of Brighton is known for an exciting and energetic design philosophy, research excellence, innovative teaching and strong links with the creative industries.

It comprises a dynamic group of scholars and practitioners working in a unique teaching and research environment that enables exploration in traditional skills of design, industry based technologies such as CAD, digital printing and laser cutting as well as cross disciplinary collaboration with those engaged in electronics, engineering and medicine.

This is a part time, fixed term post until the 18th July 2020, to cover a period of maternity leave.
