If the answer is ‘a lot’, we’ve got an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Assistant to join our Author & Marketing Solutions team. Reporting into the Social Media Strategy Manager, this role is ideal for someone to establish a digital career within publishing and get involved with social media, email and data-driven marketing.
It's an exciting time to be joining the as we're growing and trying a lot of new things. It’s a busy and dynamic team, which means we want someone super organised, creative and not afraid to pitch in with ideas.
We want someone who can demonstrate an interest in online culture. Perhaps you’re always on social networks, or you’ve run a WordPress blog. Perhaps you’ve advertised things through social media before or web analytics really fascinate you – whatever it is, we want to hear about it. Any video editing skills would be a bonus too.
You'll need to enjoy working in a close-knit team – providing administrative support to the team is a large part of the role, which involves managing diaries, scheduling and prepping for meetings, and organising team social events.
There’s also a lot of interaction with the wider company, from answering queries about Facebook invoicing to making Powerpoint/Keynote presentations on data and findings, and it’s a great opportunity to work with people and teams across Penguin Random House.
