About the Role
We are looking for a Marketing Associate to drive the execution of outstanding campaigns that deliver brand impact and drive growth for Uber in the UK and Ireland.
You will report to the Head of Marketing and you will be responsible for delivering product introductions, campaigns, and projects that structure our brand's reputation and generate demand for our products. From Riders to Partner Drivers and the cities we serve; you will help pilot the way the UK views and uses Uber.
You will work closely with the Head of Marketing to run critical initiatives, work with HQ teams to localize and execute global campaigns, while also working across multiple teams to launch new products and services specifically for the UK. From our global commitment to safety to unique British products like Uber Punts in Cambridge - your work will cover a wide range of objectives from acquisition to reputation.

The successful candidate will have experience leading large, compound projects. Will have executed integrated marketing campaigns and worked in a global brand or agency. They will have a consistent track record of navigating a matrixed organization, working with toolkits and brand guidelines, and experience using consumer and market insights to sustain their decisions.
What You'll Do
  • Develop a deep understanding of regional priorities (business targets, P&L priorities, segmentation, priority markets) to be thought partners with regional Operations, Policy and Comms teams
  • Adapt, localize, and/or amplify initiatives from Global and Regional Marketing teams to align with local strategy, taking into account local specifics and culture
  • Build and execute GTM plans for key product and service launches
  • Lead and coordinate localisation of relevant content in partnership with global localisation team, as well as crafting individual market/ regional-specific content for critical markets in partnership with relevant global partners
  • Run key cross-functional workstreams across the team to ensure completion on time, and on quality
  • Build, implement and maintain the processes and frameworks to prioritize incoming requests from across the business
What You'll Need
  • 3-5 years of generalist marketing experience, preferably in a fast-paced oriented environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or similar, and a proven ability in quantitative fields
  • Experience leading marketing projects across marketing fields or functions
  • Strong eye for business; structured problem solver with project management skills and attention to detail
  • Good relationship management as you will engage with partners across several different functions as well as global marketing colleagues in order to be successful
  • Strong written communication skills and the ability to bring to life the Uber brand in a way that is both consistent with our global brand positioning but also critical to local culture and customs
  • A strong customer-centric mentality - you are always thinking about how our customers interact with the brand
  • The ability to take the initiative in a constantly-changing work environment and a willingness to adopt a generalist approach
