We have an incredible opportunity for a dynamic and versatile designer to work alongside our award-winning marketing team, delivering inspiring creative assets across multi-channel outputs to elevate our exciting book launch campaigns.
As the non-fiction specialists of Penguin Random House, Ebury is one of the UK’s leading non-fiction publishers. The book campaigns you’d work across would cover a diverse range of non-fiction: from memoir to self-help; from cookery to sport; from business to humour, promoting our bestselling authors who include: Caitlin Moran, David Attenborough, Yotam Ottolenghi, Mary Berry, Melissa Hemsley, Elaine Welteroth, Charlie Mackesy, as well as many high profile brands.
The role requires an experienced creative who can design insightful, beautifully crafted and highly engaging solutions for both digital and print-based campaign channels. You will be creating our advertising assets for the campaign, with a focus on web banners and social media content, as well as out of home posters, POS and promotional materials. You must be confident working independently to progress projects but also work well collaboratively with our editorial teams, art director and marketeers, to produce multiple consumer touchpoints, from the conceptual stage, right through to book launch, to reach and engage with our audiences.
Your practical skills should include a thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. A working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and experience of video editing or animation would be beneficial. No formal qualifications needed or publishing-specific experience required. If you have the skills, the flair and the passion for marketing and design – we’d love to hear from you.
Please apply by Thursday 12th November and send us your PDF portfolio and CV along with a short covering letter telling us about yourself as an individual and what you can uniquely contribute. We’re looking forward to hearing from you.
