This role sits in the marcomms team within Marketing and Audiences (M&A) which is focused on connecting audiences to the very best content, so that audiences in Wales and beyond get the most out of the BBC. You will manage the delivery of multi-media campaigns and marketing collateral in line with the marketing plan. Role Responsibility
As a Marketing Executive (Marcomms Manager), you will work with the Marketing Managers across the team on a variety of campaigns, managing the delivery of high quality promotional campaigns in response to campaign commissions across all BBC Cymru Wales programmes and content.
To deliver complex marketing campaigns and publicity, in line with latest trends, in order to make the maximum impact for our brands and programmes. This would include maintaining effective relationships with the media, including national and regional press, TV, radio and digital outlets.
Manage major event commissions, developing and delivering high quality event experiences for our audiences.
To act as a point of contact for the Press Office, including out of hours as necessary, and to proactively manage reputational issues in conjunction with the Corporate Communications team, including anticipating issues with potentially negative impact.
Are you the right candidate?
We are looking for an experienced marketing and communications manager who has a good understanding of the broadcast industry and experience in managing high quality marketing, communications and events campaigns. You’ll be a strong communicator with the ability to establish and manage stakeholder relationships, as well as dealing with the public.
