The RSPCA is responsible for helping thousands of animals every year suffering from neglect, cruelty and abuse.
We solely rely on voluntary fundraising and donations to sustain that support. This role will sit right in the heart of both teams who play a significant part in helping the RSPCA to carry out its vital work.
We're recruiting Marketing Executives specifically within our Donor Recruitment (acquisition) and Donor Development (retention), teams. You'll make a huge contribution to Donor Recruitment or Donor Development activities, managing multiple activities and key stakeholders to deliver campaigns that are on brand and drive income.

How you will support both teams

  • Monitoring and communicating campaign performance in-line with plans/against objectives, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time and to budget
  • Producing and presenting campaign results, reports and analysis within the required time frame. Presenting detailed evaluations and analysis on all owned channels using various sources including supplier reports and industry knowledge.
  • Keeping abreast of industry news and developments and ensure all knowledge is shared across both teams
  • Supporting the Senior Marketing Executive in managing the performance of 3rd party suppliers
  • Developing creative for use in marketing campaigns
  • Investigating new opportunities to refine the supporter journey and grow income

How you will support the Donor Recruitment team

Supporting the Senior Marketing Executive to manage and deliver marketing activity that drives the acquisition of new donors to the RSPCA, through multiple channels including digital (paid social, PPC, display), DRTV (direct response TV), print advertising and Face to Face (private sites and door to door) campaigns

How you will support the Donor Development team

Owning the campaign plans for a specific product (for example, One-off or Regular Giving), and ensuring activity ¿ online, offline, via telephony and/or mobile - to existing donors is delivered against the plan in a timely and cost-effective way

We would really like you to be able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills and have the ability to work on your own initiative.

  • Direct marketing experience is essential
  • Proven project/campaign management skills
  • Print and / or digital knowledge
  • The ability to develop strong working relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task on-going campaigns
  • A degree-level qualification or equivalent
  • Charity experience preferred but not essential
