The primary purpose of the role will be to provide insight into customer behaviour – from marketing to conversion – and wider trends which will shape our marketing efforts and business development. Analysing data from multiple sources (transactional systems, CRM, Google Analytics), and developing our understanding of patterns and trends in customer behaviour.
The successful candidate will be innately inquisitive and looking to develop a career in analytics and insight, preferably within the entertainment industry.
Lead on insight into customer behaviour and identify trends to guide marketing strategy across Ticketmaster UK and Ireland.
Undertake analysis to support marketing activities and channel performance
Explore available inventory within the VIP and Clubs space (DOMO)
Support in research for business development tenders and pitches
Create and implement self-serve reporting dashboards from concept to delivery for clients (Live Nation, AMG, Cuffe & Taylor etc) as well as ad hoc reports using tools such as GA4
Communicate findings of analysis throughout the business/to non-data specialists
Responsible for delivering and presenting reports, trends analysis and forward-thinking strategy to SVPs at quarterly business reviews
Investigate tracking inconsistencies – identify gaps within current marketing approaches
Collaborate with global stakeholders to improve efficiencies of internal platforms in the UK
Provide competitor analysis for UK and IE key stakeholders.
Undertake any other relevant duties which fall under the general scope of the marketing role as directed by the CRM Manager and VP Marketing.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)
Numerate and logical; adept at performing basic statistical analysis
Demonstrable ability in interpreting and analysing data
Ability to present data in a clear and compelling way, in written reports and through data visualisation
Good knowledge of GA4, Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, complex formula, SQL advantageous)
Communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
Proactive and highly organised, with the ability to effectively multi task.
