POSITION: MARKETING INTERN – WOMEN FRAGRANCE DEPARTMENT: MARKETING LOCATION: LONDON REPORTS TO: PRODUCT MANAGERS WOMEN FRAGRANCE
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE Assist the 2 Fragrance Product Managers (PM) on the Women Fragrance portfolio by carrying out daily tasks and project implementations within given guidelines, timing and budget. To start beginning of May fr a 12 month contract.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Analysis
  • Responsible for monthly fragrance sell out reports on the Women Fragrance market
  • In charge of getting qualitative field feedback on new launches on Women Fragrances
  • Responsible for gathering, filing and reporting on competitive information (new launches and Xmas)
  • Spend qualitative time doing store visits in London (weekly) and in regions to build close relationships with the field team and have a great understanding of the market.

Budget management
  • In charge of the main budget tracking tool (MYPOSM) by extracting and analysing the report with the other intern and flagging the key variations vs previous month to help the PMs track the yearly budget on a monthly basis
  • Manage the collateral budget, tracking the overall fragrance spend on a weekly basis, and organising debriefs with all PMs to rearrange the underspends every month.

Media
  • Brief and follow up with the production agency on the approval of press, outdoor and TV formats
  • Ensure the media budget is rigorously kept up-to-date

360 planning and implementation
  • Assist the PMs on forecasts and allocations for key Women Fragrance launches and Christmas.
  • Coordinate logistics meetings for all launches with PMs and Demand planning team to ensure the accurate and efficient implementation of the in-store 360 plan.
  • Develop and produce diverse marketing material, in line with the fragrance product manager’s guidelines, timing and budget (POSM / Launch Material / Ad hoc mail out / Newsletters)

Events and animation implementation
  • Coordinate the implementation of launch animations both in POS and outside POS (new events, partnerships, sampling opportunities, sponsorships) in line with product managers’ guidelines, timings and budgets

Trade and field-force
  • Liaison with the current intern and product managers to implement the yearly gift plan
  • Follow up on various requests from the field team

Internal and external communication Create marketing presentations for internal and external actors

Ad hoc projects Contribute to the generation of creative ideas within the department

Profile Degree in Marketing / Business Studies or similar Experience in Marketing in luxury goods in retail industry and / or FMCG Passion for luxury cosmetic brands
