We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager who is passionate about cosmetics. The right candidate will have a foundation of skills based in copywriting and digital channel management (social, web, CRM, and affiliate). The candidate will also be experienced in producing creative concepts and briefing these to the content team ensuring brand guidelines are followed.
Build marketing plans to support specific marketing objectives across different channels and segments in support of our overall strategic marketing plan.
Marketing through various channels, including CRM platforms, managing social media accounts and scheduling content across all social platforms, using the brand’s content calendar. Channels include Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok and YouTube.
Manage and update the brand’s content calendar using Microsoft Excel.
Work with and brief the creative team to produce content for all platforms, including social media, the website and email
Manage influencer relationships, including planning and executing influencer gifting and paid promotion
Maintaining our excellent relationships with our community of consumers, ensuring there is meaningful interaction between the brand and consumers, including customers and influencers
Manage creative writing on all channels, including product descriptions
Analyse and evaluate the impact various marketing strategies have on overall business outcomes, such as LTV and retained customers.
We’re looking for someone with a minimum of three – five years marketing experience managing social media accounts, influencer networks and awareness of digital channels.
Has experience in the Beauty or fast fashion industry with a passion and love for makeup.
Has consistently met marketing KPIs in terms of growth and engagement for specific social media channels.
Ability to understand business objectives and translate these into marketing goals throughout the calendar year.
Experience of managing brand presence and community across Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, on a highly engaged account.
Experience in influencer relations, including communicating with influencers through social media and email, negotiating fees, managing influencer send-outs for current lines and new lines and recording influencer campaign results into spreadsheets. Own influencer and PR contacts would be advantageous
Experience of CRM platforms and building and sending emails
Competence and confidence as a creative writer with an understanding of tone-of-voice in relation to different platforms, audience and objectives.
Ability to uphold and be the custodian of the brand’s guidelines across tone-of-voice, messaging and creative and hold the content team to account against these.
Strong project management skills
Experience in using Microsoft Office
Strong problem-solving ability, including metrics-driven thinking
Ability to travel, as necessary.
