Summary: Working within a creative studio team as Model Booker on Ecommerce fashion shoots for a leading high street retailer. You will be responsible for casting and booking both adult and kid’s models (including licencing the children).

What you need:
  • Previous model booking experience with strong agency relationships. Existing relationships with Manchester based model agencies would be a bonus.
  • A good understanding of shoot production in a commercial environment.
  • A creative eye and a passion & knowledge of models.
  • Have a strong understanding of the client’s brand aesthetic.
  • Have an excellent casting eye; be able to spot new and relevant talent.
  • Ability and drive to continuously supply an exciting range of talent.
  • Have previous experience of both adult and kids casting / model booking.
  • A good understanding of the Children’s Performance licence process.
  • A methodical, accurate and extremely organised approach with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Able to think quickly and problem solve day to day remaining calm under pressure.
  • Outstanding negotiation skills and ability to work confidently with contracts, usages, and block bookings.
  • Use initiative and be proactive in everything you do.

Responsibilities & Duties:
  • You will work as the sole model booker for our client’s ecommerce photography, casting and booking all talent both adult and kids.
  • Responsible for sourcing options and booking all talent for x 3 model shoots per day (Mon – Fri). Problem solving when necessary to ensure we have the relevant talent needed to help all studios achieve shoot targets.
  • Nurture existing relationships with UK & international model agencies as well as establishing new ones when required.
  • Work closely with the client to determine their casting briefs.
  • Develop a creative ability to understand the client’s aesthetic for male, female, and kids’ models. Using this to recognise appropriate model suggestions.
  • Taking ownership of models booked. Work alongside the studio team to maximize each model’s potential and ensure consistency of imagery.
  • Dealing with any issues regarding talent professionally and in line with the clients behaviours policy.
  • Manage all casting and booking of kid’s models including overseeing the licencing process, ensuring licencing timelines are monitored and adhered to.
  • Keep in constant contact with the Kids model agencies; ensuring you always have up to date heights, clothes & shoe sizes to make sure all product samples will fit the chosen talent.
  • Have an in depth understanding of the model team budget and rate structure facilitating confident negotiation skills with agencies.
  • Demonstrating excellent brand awareness by identifying areas for review, researching ideas, and assessing the competition when required.
  • Any other duties that may be required from time to time relevant to your role.
