The site is home to the much loved Royal Festival Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall, Purcell Room, Hayward Gallery, National Poetry Library, and Arts Council Collection of visual art, as well as all the indoor and outdoor performance, cafe and retail spaces in between.
We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic motion graphics designer with strong kinetic typography and moving image skills, to take our new visual identity and bring it to life across digital platforms. You will deliver high quality design assets for our on-site digital signage, and assist in the scheduling and uploading of digital artwork to our specialised CMS system.
With excellent knowledge of Adobe After Effects, you will design, edit and animate impactful and appropriate screens, helping to deliver digital fine art projects and cut-through marketing messages about our artistic programme, events and site. You will help to foster fresh thinking in how we talk to those who visit our site, and think practically and strategically about how to best communicate to our audiences.
You will have strong typographic and layout skills, and an exciting portfolio of animated design projects working with type, video and illustrated elements. With a proven ability to create design solutions from concept to production and convey ideas in a positive and creative manner, you will play a key role in defining and crafting our new brands’ animated language (video end-card/lower third/animated typographic styles).
With a core understanding of brand integrity and flair for working creatively within a brand identity, you will become an integral part of our in-house design team and help to amplify our digital and animation capabilities.
